Another year over, a new one just begun

us, we spent this one asleep, well actually we got woken up by all the loud fireworks and shouting in the street. Daisy spent it asleep (for all the tiptoeing around we do she sleeps like a rock).
So that’s 2004 over with, were did it go, well fortunately we have this blog, so I can bore you again with some on the key details of the year.
January
- I broke the video camera (in the end we got a new one, the repairs cost to much)
- we invented a new way to play Chinese Checkers
- I tried a new honesty policy in work and caused a stir
- we thought we were pregnant and we were right
- so we started to a just to the world changing
- we had a weekend away with our house group, which was nice
- and I remained an eBay virgin
February
- pregnancy started to take it’s toll on Ruth
- Fad of the moment in work was BS7799 (it passed, after we looked at the extra work needed).
- we told the evil Nat West where to go
March
- Ruth wrote a poem
- and the hormones kicked in
- getting the house ready started, so I had to wait in for the new carpets
- work was making me sad (nothing new, I hear you say)
- I took time out to explain more about insects I hate
- Ruth ended the month to bonkers to go to work
April
- I started shopping at 6 in the morning
- we started to worry about the cyst that had shown up on the first scans
- our car got service packed
- we started looking for ‘the’ pram
- kicking and screaming we entered the world of the mobile phone
- I had one fight to many with a printer
May
- work was making me sad (again) so I started to write my CV (again)
- I said yes to helping when I should have said no. (looking back I nearly had a panic attack over this)
- the early Morning roaming was in full swing and I started a picture a day web page (it lasted two weeks)
- we spent a lovely day sitting in the middle of the forest
June
- I discovered Pimp My Ride on MTV
- I got all rambly about my five years at the same job
- we went to the Isle of Wight for a holiday (we made a video)
- I got half appraised
- I hit my work low point ( I think this is when my hair started to go missing)
- we went to see the river festival (note I was still ranty)
July
- the bank told me to stop getting cash out the wall
- the bump started to get in the way for Ruth
- I got stuck in the world of graduations again (I saw 7 this time)
August
- I started to ride my bike to work
- Ray Paton died
- I got all psyched up to ask for a pay rise (I got it)
- I remembered something about our trip to India ( I think I have been suppressing the memories).
- Liverpool got obsessive about sign posts
September
- we came up with an idea for a DIY program
- I got a list of things to do at work
- we learnt how to hang a toilet roll
- oh and we had a baby
October
- I became a bit obesssive over shopping in ASDA
- quite quickly we got a routine going
- I eventually had to go back to work
- and the cats got a bit stressed with all the changes
November
- I got a new toy
- I broke everything in work
- oh and I got a very full cup of tea
December
- work got me down (spot the theme?)
- I got obsessed with old buildings (but I got some nice pictures of them)
and that is the year, according to the blog, a few other things happened, much more Daisy stuff, is on Daisy’s web pages, and we did something quite unconventional with Christmas presents which we will probably tell you about soon enough.
